Will it break my existing setup?

No. install.sh backs up everything in ~/.claude/ to a timestamped directory before writing new files. You can fully restore your previous config with bash uninstall.sh at any time.

What's the performance overhead?

Hooks fire on lifecycle events — prompt submit, stop, and compaction — typically adding 30–100ms per event. You won't notice it during normal work.

Does it work with my existing CLAUDE.md?

Yes. Your CLAUDE.md stays the top-level instruction file. oh-my-claude adds @-imports for its memory modules, and you can remove any of those lines to opt out piece by piece.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. The harness itself is 100% local bash and markdown — no telemetry, no remote calls, no accounts. The installer only touches your ~/.claude/ directory. (This marketing site uses Vercel's cookieless page analytics — no personal data collected.)

How do I update?

cd oh-my-claude && git pull && bash install.sh — the installer re-backs-up your config and applies the new release on top.

Can I remove individual agents or skills?

Yes. Every agent and skill is an independent markdown file. Delete any you don't want with rm ~/.claude/agents/.md or rm -rf ~/.claude/skills//.
